Come to Trainworks for a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt - 31 March

The Easter Bunny Express is puffing in from Sydney for Easter Sunday fun!

Whether you take the train from Sydney or arrive at Trainworks by car you’ll be enjoying all the great activities:

  • Follow the Easter Bunny from Thirlmere station as he hops from the train onto the grassy grounds
  • Take part in the huge Easter Egg Hunt! This is sure to have you giddy with excitement as you and your friends and family search for eggs. (You’re sure to find Easter Eggs as we’ve craftily hidden plenty and the egg hunt is split into age categories)
  • Egg Decorating
  • Egg & Spoon Races 
  • Many more fun activities for kids, parents, and all ages

The fun all kicks off at 10.30am, so get in early! There will be plenty of things to keep you entertained until 12.00pm when the Easter Bunny arrives on the Easter Bunny Express.

Three Easter Egg Hunts will take place

  • 12:30pm: Ages under 5 in the Station Master’s Garden
  • 12:45pm: Ages 6 – 9 in the Main Park Area
  • 1:10pm: Ages 10 – 15 in the Great Train Hall

Remember! Steam season has begun. Steam train trips will run throughout the day.

Prices

Normal Admission Prices on the day. Remember that children under the age of 5 enjoy free entry to Trainworks.
Participation in the Easter activities is a nominal $5 surcharge for all ages. Family bookings must be made over the phone on 02 4683 6800.

Remember: Lunch at Trainworks is a great idea. For a small group or large family gathering, the Trainworks Cafe is delighted to cater to your needs. Ring 02 4683 6800 and ask for cafe catering for Easter.
