Trainworks offers a range of options to ensure your group has an unforgettable rail heritage experience.

Tour options

Tours are led by Trainworks Volunteer Corps - and are included in your entry fee. We tailor the tours to suit your interest, itinerary and mobility. If you have any tour preferences, or special needs let us know beforehand, so we can tailor the day to suit you!

Introductory talks – 15 minutes : A brief overview of Trainworks prior to a self-guided visit.
General highlight tours – 30 to 90 minutes.

Group pricing

Exhibition entry: $12 per person (minimum of 15 adults)
Ride experience: Additional $12 per person on advertised ride experience days. (Currently Sunday)

Charter: Trainworks' corporate partner, the NSW Rail Transport Museum, can provide steam and diesel excursions for private charters. Please visit www.heritageexpress.com.au for further details. 

Catering

We can provide catering for your group, from a light morning or afternoon tea to a hearty lunch. Contact us on (02) 4683 6800 to discuss your requirements.

The school visits program supports the following units of the Science & Technology and HSIE Curricula.

We also welcome Vacation Care group bookings during the school holidays for an exciting and educational day out.
