Tour options

ALL TOURS ARE FREE! Led by Trainworks Volunteer Corps

Introductory talks – 15 minutes
A brief introduction and overview of Trainworks prior to a self-guided visit.

General highlight tours – 30 to 90 minutes

Explore the Trainworks site with a fully guided tour tailored to fit your itinerary.

Special interest tours

If your group has a special interest we can arrange a particular focus for your tour prior to your visit. Tours can also be adapted for visitors with special needs.
 

Group pricing

Exhibition entry: $12 per person (minimum of 15 people)
Ride experience: $12 per person on advertised ride experience days. Steam trains currently run every Sunday.
Charter: Trainworks' corporate partner, the NSW Rail Transport Museum, can provide steam and diesel excursions for private charters. Please visit www.heritageexpress.com.au for further details.

Catering

We can provide catering for your group, from a light morning or afternoon tea to a hearty lunch. Contact us on (02) 4681 8001 to discuss your requirements.

The school visits program supports the following units of the Science & Technology and HSIE Curricula.

We also welcome Vacation Care group bookings during the school holidays for an exciting and educational day out.
